Congratulations being selected as a featured artist in CV&L!
On this page we have summarised the information about the zine, how we feature your work, and what information will be shared.

Zine Feature
In the zine we will include:

Your Name
Your Pronouns
Medium/Genre of Work
Artist Statement (Excludes Written Work)
Description of Artwork (Excludes Written Work)
Website and/or social media (if provided)
Images of artwork (Excludes Written Work)
QR Code (If work needs to be viewed online, such as a YouTube Video)
All Featured Artists’ names are listed on the zine cover

All information will be printed as you entered in the submission (Please get in touch if anything has changed) (I.e. We will print the name you entered with, not what comes up with your email or what your Instagram name is)

Online Feature
Your work will also be featured online, unless you contact us to opt-out of this. We feature artists online on our website, on social media, and in our store.

On our website we include:

Your Name
Your Pronouns
Artist Statement (Excludes Written Work)
Either 1-2 Images, a Video or Full Written Piece (depending on submission type)
Links to your website and/or social media (if provided)

On our Instagram we include:

Your Name
Your Pronouns
An Image
Artist Statement (Excludes Written Work)
Tagged to your Instagram Account (if provided)

We also create a reel to announce all featured artists in each issue of the zine. All artists will be tagged in the caption, as we feature more artists than Instagram allows for accounts to be tagged to a video.

Written submissions will not be posted in full on Instagram, but writer’s names and piece titles will appear in a post and in announcement reel.
On our store we include:

A list of all Featured Artists’ names in the product description
Multiple images of the cover, which contains all Artist’s names
A few random pages to represent the contents of the zine, which may include any of the information printed
Images of the zine, including inside pages, in advertising banners for the zine

If you would like to remind yourself of our terms and conditions, they are available here.

As stated in the terms and conditions, we are unable to offer a free copy of the zine to featured artists as it is simply not possible financially, however we will be able to offer a small discount.
We would like to assure you that we do not profit off your artwork, we price and budget the zine on the basis of breaking even, and if we do make a profit it will all go into the next issue.

And as a copyright reminder, you retain full copyright to all the work you have submitted, but grant us permission to publish, sell and distribute as part of our zine.
Your artwork will not be used for anything not mentioned above or in the terms and conditions unless we contact you beforehand for explicit permission.

If you would like to withdraw from the zine, this must be done before the deadline specified in your “Successful Submission” email.
